Responsibilities:

As an Assistant Civil Engineering Manager, EIT, you will:

1. Assist in the management and coordination of civil engineering projects, including commercial and residential developments, transportation projects, and design-build initiatives.
2. Utilize Civil 3D, Open Roads, and other engineering software to create detailed design plans and specifications.
3. Oversee the design and implementation of roadway, drainage, and paving systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards.
4. Collaborate with project teams to develop project schedules, budgets, and quality control measures.
5. Coordinate with contractors, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to facilitate smooth project execution.
6. Contribute to the preparation of project proposals, reports, and documentation.
7. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff.
8. Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to your work.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on project engineering, commercial projects, and design-build.
3. An Engineering-in-Training (EIT) certification.
4. Proficiency in Civil 3D, Open Roads, and other relevant engineering software.
5. Demonstrated experience with roadway, drainage, and paving design.
6. A track record of successful project management, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
9. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
