About the Job
We're looking for a highly skilled RF Technician/Electronics Technician to support the development, assembly, and testing of advanced electronic and RF systems.

This role requires deep hands-on experience with soldering, cable harnessing, and RF hardware, along with the ability to interpret complex schematics and contribute to rapid prototyping efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the creation and refinement of work instructions and procedures for electronics soldering, assembly, and testing.
  • Interpret and review complex electrical and RF schematics to ensure accuracy during build and test phases.
  • Perform precision soldering and rework, including surface mount assembly down to 0402 components, using tools such as hot air rework stations and microscopes.
  • Assemble and test multi-wire cable harnesses; develop Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and perform verification testing.
  • Support the integration and testing of RF electronics hardware, including antennas and microwave circuits.
  • Troubleshoot systems using advanced diagnostic tools such as VNAs, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
  • Assist in the integration of electronic components for rapid prototyping and iterative development.
  • Maintain high standards of quality and documentation in a fast-paced, high-reliability environment.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience with electronic systems, including analog, digital, and RF subsystems.
  • Proficiency in soldering and rework across a wide range of package types (QFN, QFP, TSOP, through-hole, etc.).
  • Experience with cable harnessing and related standards (IPC or NASA preferred).
  • Strong familiarity with electrical and RF schematics.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Certification in one or more of the following: IPC J-STD-001 (with Space Addendum), IPC-620, IPC-7711/7721, or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience working with high-reliability products in a quality-controlled environment.
  • Background in RF circuit design, antenna measurements, and microwave systems.
  • Familiarity with Altium Designer for schematic capture and PCB layout.
  • Ability to multitask across soldering, harnessing, and system-level testing.
