Job Details

Job Title: Network Engineer Tier 2 LAN / Wi-Fi
Location: Raleigh, NC - (Hybrid - 4 days a week)
Max Pay Rate: $35/hr on w2 (All Inclusive)
We are seeking a Network Engineer to support our client and perform LAN and Wi-Fi monitoring and support. This individual will be expected to work independently or semi-independently with a minimum of guidance or direction.
Schedule is Monday Friday from 8am to 6pm ET with occasional on-call rotation and after-hours work.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s Degree and a minimum of 3 years of IT work experience; Additional experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years of applicable network experience and support.
  • Proficiency in LAN protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, VLANs, Spanning Tree Protocol).
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills Layer 1 and 2
  • Understanding of LAN security standards and methodologies.
  • Proven experience with LAN networking and other wireless solutions such as Cisco Meraki, HPE Aruba, Juniper Mist, and Fortinet.
  • Experience with ServiceNow or other ticketing systems
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite, especially Excel and Teams
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a team mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Continuous learning and staying up to date with the latest trends, technologies, and industry developments in the LAN Engineering field.
  • Preferred: Cisco or other applicable Networking Certifications
