The candidate will be supporting a WWT customer and will be employed by one of WWT s preferred partners. The partner will provide full compensation and benefit information prior to employment with the partner.

Rate/Salary: A reasonable estimate of the current pay range for this position is $85.00 on (w2) hourly and $180k Per Anum+ Benefits. Actual pay will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs, and will be set by your employer. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in base pay.

As the Principal Network Architect, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our network infrastructure, driving innovation, and enhancing customer experience. Leveraging your expertise in network architecture, security protocols, and cloud technologies, you will design and implement cutting-edge solutions to optimize connectivity, enhance performance, and ensure the security of our Network ecosystem.
Job Description
- Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize network, system & cloud performance, identifying and addressing bottlenecks, latency issues, and other performance challenges to deliver an exceptional user experience.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic initiatives to modernize our Network infrastructure and enhance customer connectivity, aligning network architecture with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Network Design and Implementation: Design, architect, and implement scalable and resilient network solutions that support our evolving business needs, leveraging the latest technologies and protocols.
- Cloud Integration: Lead efforts to integrate network connectivity with cloud platforms, ensuring seamless connectivity and optimal performance for cloud-based applications and services.
- Security Compliance: Implement robust security measures and protocols to safeguard our network infrastructure and customer data, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers, evaluating and selecting vendors based on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams, mentoring junior engineers and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Preferred Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree bonus.
- 10+ years of experience in Network architecture and design, with a focus on network technologies.
- Proven track record of successfully architecting and implementing network solutions in complex, multi-site environments.
- Expertise in network security principles, protocols, and technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Expertise in troubleshooting complex performance issues ranging from network, system & application issues using broad set of tools, such as standard observability tools, analyzing packet captures, and system logs.
- Specific hands-on experience with SD-WAN/SASE, Cisco ACI, Meraki, and Zscaler
- Strong understanding of cloud technologies and architectures, with experience integrating network connectivity with leading cloud platforms such as Azure and Google Cloud.
