We're looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Marina Maintenance Technician to help keep our marina safe, clean, and fully operational. In this role, you'll perform essential maintenance tasks, oversee daily activities around the marina, and work closely with the Marina Manager to address issues and ensure a great experience for our tenants and visitors.

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, including training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. The base pay is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

What You'll Do:
- Maintain the safety and cleanliness of the marina and report findings to the Marina Manager.
- Perform basic carpentry, electrical repairs (dock pedestals), and plumbing fixes.
- Complete preventative maintenance and manage individual projects from start to finish.
- Respond promptly to on-site maintenance needs and tenant requests.
- Maintain marina-owned equipment and ensure work sites are clean and safe.
- Assist with obtaining quotes and coordinating outside vendors when needed.
- Enforce marina rules and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service to tenants and visitors.
- Education: High school diploma required.
- Experience:
- 3-5 years of marina experience required.
- 4-6 years of general maintenance experience preferred.
- Skills:
- Technical or vocational training in electrical, mechanical, or plumbing.
- Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain accurate work logs.
- Collaborative attitude and ability to work well with the Harbormaster's team.
- Knowledge of boats, boating culture, and related needs.
- Full-time, on-site position.
- Comfortable with routine physical activity and exposure to outdoor conditions (heat, cold, wind, precipitation).
- Must be able to work independently within established policies and procedures.
