HCM Functional Consultant 5 Pension Administration

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced HCM Functional Consultant (Level 5) specializing in Pension Administration to join our team. This senior role involves leading and supporting the implementation, configuration, and optimization of pension administration modules within an HCM system (e.g., Oracle Cloud HCM, SAP HCM, Workday). The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors to ensure pension processes meet organizational and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Pension Administration within the HCM system.
  • Lead the end-to-end configuration and deployment of pension-related functionalities.
  • Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into system configurations or enhancements.
  • Define and document functional specifications, process flows, and system design.
  • Support integration efforts between Pension Administration and other HCM or financial modules.
  • Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT), data migration, and training sessions.
  • Monitor and resolve issues related to pension calculations, eligibility rules, enrollments, and disbursements.
  • Stay updated with regulatory changes affecting pension administration and ensure system compliance.
  • Mentor junior consultants and provide leadership in complex project environments.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 10 years of experience as an HCM Functional Consultant.
  • Strong expertise in Pension Administration (Defined Benefit and/or Defined Contribution plans).
  • Experience with enterprise HCM solutions such as Oracle Cloud HCM, SAP, PeopleSoft, or Workday.
  • Proven track record in configuring and supporting pension modules in large-scale implementations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with pension regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g., ERISA, IRS, etc.).
