Role: Customer Service / Program Support Specialist
Location: Remote
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Customer Service / Program Support Specialist to assist in processing customer applications, validating account data, and coordinating service orders. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, experience working with SAP and Microsoft Office Suite, and a proven ability to manage high-volume tasks accurately and efficiently.
This role involves reviewing and processing applications, coordinating with internal teams, and providing exceptional customer service to both customers and contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Validate customer account information using SAP and program databases (e.g., PV, SBP, MAR).
- Review submitted MSA applications for completeness and accuracy, ensuring all model numbers, diagrams, and authorization forms are correct.
- Identify and document deficiencies, escalating unclear or complex cases to program leads as needed.
- Issue service orders for approved applications and track installation status using PCI and PowerClerk systems.
- Respond to customer and contractor inquiries regarding application status, eligibility, and installation timelines.
- Conduct proactive outreach to resolve issues and obtain missing documentation.
- Maintain professional, empathetic communication especially during escalations or sensitive matters.
- Collaborate with program managers, meter technicians, and operations teams to ensure smooth workflow and scheduling.
- Support senior specialists with administrative tasks, reporting, and process documentation.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement discussions.
- Use Microsoft Excel and other tools to track application statuses, generate reports, and analyze basic data to support program performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Associate s degree in Business or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- 3 5 years of experience in customer service, order processing, or related clerical work.
- Proven ability to tactfully resolve moderately complex issues and provide excellent customer service.
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
