The Tableau Developer will join the Analytics & Reporting team to design, build, deploy and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau for various business units. This role will work closely with data engineers, business stakeholders, asset management, operations and program teams to translate business requirements into actionable insights, enabling to monitor performance, asset health, transportation planning and operational outcomes

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Proven experience (e.g., 3-5 years) as a Tableau developer or BI developer working with Tableau in a production environment.

Strong expertise in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Online: dashboard design, data connections, calculated fields, parameters, sets, dashboard actions, performance tuning.

Proficient in SQL: writing complex queries, optimizing queries, working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL).

Experience in data modelling, data warehousing, ETL processes, data cleansing and preparation.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret complex data and convey insights in clear, actionable visuals.

Excellent communication skills: able to translate business requirements into technical solutions, present dashboards to non-technical stakeholders, provide training/support.

Knowledge of data governance, security, performance best practices for BI/dashboards.

Comfortable working in a public-sector environment or large organization, dealing with complex data (e.g., spatial/asset data) and multiple stakeholders.

Self-motivated, able to manage multiple dashboards/projects, meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
