Job Title: CX Contractor

Location: Mountain View, CA (Remote)

Duration: 3 Months

Industry/Background Preference: CX Content Writing background is big plus but not required

Education: College degree with 3+ years eperience / 7+ years of equivalent experience

Must Have s:

  • This role is with Consumer Content Team
  • Include writing sample if any
  • Training will be provided on AI Content writing
  • Contentful CMS experience is required
  • Creating internal documentation
  • Strong attention to details
  • Customer Support Content writing experience / Someone with Customer Support background
  • Tech Writing (Technical Writer) background will not work
  • Adept AI technology in terms of Content writing and they will train on this
  • This person will work with process specialist & Machine Learning team to re-write the content

Duties: We're looking for a contract AI Content Writer to support a 3-month initiative to transform our internal knowledge base into structured, AI-optimized content. This work directly supports our internal AI tooling for customer support, helping improve knowledge retrieval and automation.

This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented writer interested in the intersection of content and AI. You'll receive training in machine-readable content best practices and collaborate with cross-functional teams to apply those principles across a high-impact knowledge base.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Rewrite and structure existing knowledge base content for machine readability.

Optimize content for clarity, consistency, and AI interpretability.

Apply training in AI-driven content strategy to improve internal tooling performance.

Collaborate with Content, Machine Learning, and Process Specialists.

Align rewritten content with internal standards and formatting best practices.

Skills:

Exceptional English writing and editing skills.

Strong attention to detail and consistency.

Experience with Contentful CMS.

Ability to translate complex or technical concepts into clear, structured content.

Familiarity with customer support operations, agent workflows, and processes (preferred).

Interest in AI-driven technologies and their applications in support environments.

Comfortable working independently and managing deadlines in a remote setting.

3+ years of experience in writing, editing, or content strategy.

Experience working with knowledge bases or internal documentation tools is a plus.
