THE WORK
In this Infrastructure Systems Engineer role, you will:
- Engage in the engineering of secure and scalable virtualized edge computing solutions.
- Participate in engineering activities including product selection, design, development, deployment, integration, and test of infrastructure platforms.
- Apply automation tools and technologies to streamline system deployment.
- Support the interface and integration with different systems, software, and sensors.
- Support customer and corporate events and exercises to test future capabilities for the warfighter.
WHO YOU ARE
You have a Bachelors degree in a Computer/System Engineering or related field and at least 2 years of professional experience. You are interested in a career where you will solve problems and develop solutions on a daily basis. You enjoy a good challenge and excel in an environment where you can collaborate with other motivated engineers.
Must be willing to work onsite, traveling between multiple sites within the campus (5 mile radius) as well as be willing to travel domestically or internationally as needed.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, System Engineering, Computer Systems Technology, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience.
- Administration/deployment experience with a Linux Operating System (preferably Red Hat).
- Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMWare or KVM.
- Experience working in a systems/software engineering environment, using agile tools, automation, and applying best practices.
- Familiarity and experience with computer/server hardware, components, and peripherals.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
Desired skills
- Masters degree or advanced technical certification(s).
- Experience with Network devices and their configuration.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Ansible, and bash.
- Experience with software containerization.
- Experience with system hardening and cybersecurity best practices.
- Excellent communication skills, especially the ability to articulate advanced technical topics to both technical and non-technical staff.
- DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ CE or equivalent).
