Job Description:

As a Network Administrator specializing in Palo Alto and Juniper systems, you will play a critical role in managing and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure seamless connectivity, security, and optimal performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and troubleshoot network solutions aligned with our business objectives.

Responsibilities:
  1. Design, configure, and deploy Palo Alto and Juniper network solutions to meet business requirements, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
  2. Manage and maintain Palo Alto firewall policies, VPN configurations, and Juniper routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP) to optimize network performance and security.
  3. Perform regular monitoring, analysis, and optimization of network traffic and performance using tools such as Wireshark, SolarWinds, and SNMP.
  4. Implement and enforce network security policies, including access controls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and vulnerability assessments.
  5. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network-related issues, including outages, performance degradation, and security incidents.
  6. Collaborate with IT teams to integrate network infrastructure with other systems, such as servers, storage, and cloud platforms.
  7. Document network configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  8. Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in network administration, particularly related to Palo Alto and Juniper systems.


Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Network Administrator, with a focus on Palo Alto and Juniper systems.
  • Strong proficiency in configuring and managing Palo Alto firewalls, including PAN-OS, Panorama, and advanced security features (e.g., App-ID, User-ID, SSL decryption).
  • Extensive experience with Juniper networking devices, including MX Series routers, EX Series switches, and SRX Series firewalls.
  • In-depth knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, such as TCP/IP, VLANs, MPLS, QoS, and VPNs.
  • Proven track record of troubleshooting complex network issues and implementing effective solutions.
  • Industry certifications such as Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) and Juniper Networks Certified Internet Expert (JNCIE) are highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
