Position Summary:
The Laboratory Support Specialist will provide documentation and systems support for research, development, and quality processes within the Consumer Business Group - Home Improvement team. This role focuses on updating technical data, maintaining product information in PLM systems, and collaborating with engineers to ensure accuracy and compliance
Additional Details:
Contract Length: 12 months with the possibility of extension
Pay range: $20 to $25/hour on W2 as per experience
Key Responsibilities
- Update computer systems with documentation for existing and new products.
- Collaborate with engineers to gather technical details for input into technical data sheets.
- Optimize linkages and organization within the PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) data repository system.
- Support a variety of projects across products and applications.
Basic Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of industry experience with data entry, documentation updates, and gathering details from technical staff.
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in a science-related field.
- Prior laboratory or manufacturing experience.
- Experience with PLM, ENOVIA, or similar systems.
- Ability to take verbal and written instructions and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
