Role: Sr. PMO Project Manager

Location: Washington DC

Duration: Long Term


Key Responsibilities:

Lead the end-to-end project management of the Everbridge system implementation, from initiation to deployment and post-go-live support.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including IT, cybersecurity, security, communications, and emergency management teams, to define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.

Serve as the primary liaison between the organization and Everbridge, managing vendor communications, deliverables, and escalations.

Develop and maintain a detailed project plan, including timelines, resource allocation, budget tracking & forecasts, and risk management strategies.

Coordinate system configuration, integration with existing technologies (e.g., HR systems, Active Directory, emergency alerting tools, ArcGIS), and data migration.

Oversee user testing (UAT), training, and change management activities to ensure smooth adoption of the platform.

Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and organizational policies related to data privacy, emergency preparedness, and communications.

Prepare and deliver project status reports, dashboards, and executive updates.

Identify and resolve project issues and risks in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications:

Proven experience leading Everbridge platform implementations

Bachelor's degree or equivalent demonstrable experience in Project Management, Information Technology, Emergency Management, or a related field.

PMP project management certification.

5+ years of experience in project management, with a track record of delivering complex technology or emergency systems projects on time and within budget.

Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, Agile, Waterfall).

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage cross-functional teams and vendor relationships.

Experience in emergency communication, business continuity, or public safety environments.

Work Location:

Flexible hybrid work arrangement. The project requires an onsite presence bi-weekly at client locations along the northeast corridor between New York and Washington, DC.
