Job Summary
Coordinates, prepares, reviews and compiles specialized financial, medical, research and/or demographic information to facilitate analysis, management review or reporting requirements.
Responsibilities
Reviews and analyzes data according to departmental or experimental protocols. Identifies and/or acquires data through library, patient medical records or computer data base searches. Designs and compiles special reports for analysis, management review, research purposes and/or reporting requirements. Performs data entry of target data, data cleaning and record keeping as needed. Processes and maintains confidential information regarding research study participants. May provide training for department specific system needs. May interview study subjects.

Nearly Continuously: Office environment.
Physical Requirements and Level of Frequency that may be required
Nearly Continuously: Sitting, hearing, listening, talking.
Often: Repetitive hand motion (such as typing), walking.
Seldom: Bending, reaching overhead.
Minimum Qualifications
Two years experience in data analysis, related research experience or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience); experience in computer based data systems management; demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills required. A thorough knowledge of statistical and demographic concept; and a basic understanding of medical and billing terminology is preferred. This position has no responsibility for providing care to patients.
