QA Engineer
Bravotech a leader in IT staffing and staff augmentation services, seeks a perm QA Engineer for a preferred client based in the Texas.
QA Engineer will own the design, execution, and analysis of large-scale load and reliability tests across our Rust and JavaScript-based services.
You'll work closely with development, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure our applications meet stringent performance SLAs and deliver a rock-solid user experience under real-world conditions.
QA Engineer with 3+ years of experience specializing in performance, load, and reliability testing of distributed services. Skilled in testing the architecture and executing large-scale tests across Rust and JavaScript-based applications, ensuring systems meet stringent SLAs and deliver seamless user experiences under real-world conditions. Proficient with industry-standard performance tools such as JMeter, Locust, and Gatling, alongside system monitoring solutions like Prometheus and Grafana. Adept at scripting in Rust, JavaScript, and Python to build custom test agents and analysis utilities. Experienced in designing endpoint-specific load tests, simulating complex workflows, and validating system stability and throughput under stress. Strong background in instrumenting databases (Postgres) and services for CPU, memory, and I/O monitoring, correlating metrics with performance bottlenecks, and triaging failures. Collaborates closely with DevOps to embed automated performance tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) using infrastructure-as-code for reproducibility. Produces data-driven dashboards and executive-level reports to highlight SLA compliance, latency thresholds, and resource utilization trends, driving continuous optimization across systems.

- Background in containerized/cloud environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with network simulation tools or chaos engineering frameworks.
