Job Description: SAP HANA Consultant (SD/MM) – 10+ Years Experience

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP HANA Consultant with strong expertise in Sales & Distribution (SD) and Materials Management (MM) modules. The consultant will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting SAP S/4HANA solutions, ensuring seamless integration between SD and MM processes, and aligning business requirements with system functionality. The role requires a strategic thinker with excellent technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and proven experience in delivering large-scale SAP HANA implementations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage end-to-end SAP S/4HANA SD and MM implementations and rollouts.

  • Gather business requirements, perform gap analysis, and translate them into functional specifications.

  • Configure, customize, and optimize SD & MM modules (Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Pricing, Billing, Procurement, Inventory, Logistics, etc.).

  • Ensure seamless integration of SD and MM with FI/CO, PP, WM, EWM, and other SAP modules.

  • Provide solutions for pricing, taxation, credit management, rebates, procurement cycles, and inventory management.

  • Conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing), prepare test scripts, and support business users.

  • Deliver data migration strategies and execute migration using SAP HANA tools.

  • Provide ongoing production support, enhancements, and performance optimization.

  • Work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams (ABAP, BASIS), and cross-functional teams.

  • Prepare detailed documentation, training material, and conduct knowledge transfer.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of overall SAP experience, with at least 6+ years in SAP SD & MM and hands-on expertise in S/4HANA.

  • Strong knowledge of business processes in Sales, Distribution, Procurement, Logistics, and Inventory.

  • Expertise in pricing, credit management, vendor management, consignment, subcontracting, intercompany processes, and third-party sales.

  • Experience with S/4HANA Simplifications (Business Partner, Fiori Apps, S/4HANA Data Models).

  • Proficiency in integration with FI/CO, WM/EWM, and PP.

  • Experience in end-to-end project lifecycles (implementation, upgrade, support, migration).

  • Strong hands-on skills in configuration, testing, debugging, and issue resolution.

  • Good understanding of ABAP debugging for functional consultants.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP S/4HANA certification in SD or MM.

  • Experience in SAP Activate methodology.

  • Exposure to SAP Fiori Apps and reporting in HANA.

  • Experience in working with international clients across multiple geographies.
