JOB TITLE: Data Scientist

LOCATION: 9700 Health Care Lane, Minnetonka, MN 55343

DUTIES: Utilize data science and analytical technologies for company business units. Collect, prepare, analyze, and act upon data to ensure data integrity. Collaborate with analytics consultants and product team stakeholders to perform day-to-day duties. Utilize analytical knowledge and skills to perform data analysis, forecast trends and outcomes and drive actionable insights. Generate value by developing new product solutions and improving efficiencies in standard reporting processes. Ensure data accuracy, consistency and integrity across various systems. Design and implement formulary change impact models to predict cost trends and identify savings opportunities. Utilizing pharmacy claims data to analyze medication adherence rates and detect patterns indicative of fraud, waste, and abuse. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S.

REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Master's degree in Business Analytics, Business Administration or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a Analytics-related occupation. Position requires 2 years of experience in the following:

Programming languages such as SAS, SQL, Python, and R.

Data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI

Statistical methods and data modeling techniques, including regression, classification, clustering, and time series analysis. Medical claims coding, including procedure and diagnosis codes such as CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10 codes.
