We are seeking a UAT Tester Intermediate for a very important client
Job Description
Client is seeking a highly motivated person with interest in UAT and in learning product owner skills The candidate will play an active role in helping execute against our roadmap, by coordinating our User Acceptance Testing Secondarily, the person will work closely with Product Owner In this role, you will work with cross-disciplinary teams including design, technology and product delivery teams on both our web and mobile-focused products.
The Small & Midsize Product team continues to evolve as we respond to the growing needs of our customers If you are an outside the box thinker, are passionate about testing execution, delivering impactful user experiences to our customers and learning Product Owner role, this could be the position for you!
Job responsibilities:
Become a subject matter expert on Send Business Payments including ACH payments, ACH Collections, Real-time payments and the Payment Hubs.
Lead the planning and execution of user acceptance testing, working with process owners, technology, product managers, functional areas, and customer experience/design teams
Design, develop, and create manual test scripts
Test, validate, document, and evidence test results
Manage and prioritize defects and see them out to resolution
Ensure the highest quality product is delivered to our customers
Support production releases which will require occasional weekend/evening support
Requirement:
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
The ideal candidate must be a self-starter who is able to work in a fast paced, results focused environment.
Additional qualifications:
Minimum 3+ years of experience in a Quality Assurance or User Acceptance Testing role
Hands-on knowledge of Agile principles and Quality Assurance methodologies/best practices
JIRA experience - you know how to navigate JIRA, create issues, write stories, and have an understanding of more advanced capabilities such as creating dashboards and complex queries
Experience in the design of detailed functional test plans, and the creation and execution of test cases
Strong time management skills, with an ability to multi-task & handle multiple test assignments & prioritize one's own work
Written and verbal communication skills - able to present status, facts, thoughts and ideas in a clear, concise, convincing and organized manner
Flexibility and adaptability - able to quickly and smoothly change direction based upon stakeholder or management direction, while remaining extremely organized and following tight deadlines
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Hands-on experience conducting Online and Mobile testing using devices and simulators like SeeTest
Passion for online & mobile technology and knowledge of industry structure, trends and influential companies
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field of study, or equivalent relevant experience
