Our enterprise client has an immediate opening for a Contract to Perm Cloud/Infrastructure Microsoft Solutions Service Delivery Manager.
They will have the opportunity to craft solutions but also help to guide the team and implement Microsoft Cloud strategy and initiatives.
This position will help to ensure the security and efficiency of IT infrastructure, and aligning technology initiatives with business goals.

Responsibilities:
Cloud/Infrastructure Operational Administration and Technical Expertise
Managed Cloud operation and technical leads acting as subject matter expert on departmental projects to ensure Cloud and Infrastructure engineering initiatives.
Advise client C level and Senior Management on technical issues and help drive soltuions.
Work as a liaison for lines of business to ensure cloud governance through a matrix organizational structure. Influence technical staff in the design and operation of complex computing platforms and management of technology assets. Serve as escalation point of contact for the most complex issues and problem analysis.
Ensure staff implements technical solutions according to established policies, procedures, patterns and standards. Accountable for the implementation and ongoing support of the Infrastructure solutions and the operational staff that maintains them. Lead a team in the monitoring and response to cybersecurity events and triage.
Develop technology roadmaps to align new desktop engineering initiatives to company and line of business goals. Engineer and coordinate desktop solutions to improve end user business continuity objectives.
Plan and facilitate team goals and objectives by working with the team, peers, and direct management to support IT's overall goals and objectives. Coordinate and communicate through regular staff meetings and meeting with individual team members. Oversee assignments, identifying opportunities to mentor team members and drive work towards a successful delivery of solution.
Review staff deliverables to ensure deliverable is complete and provide es on recommendations for improvements. Evaluate the performance of team members, both formally and informally, with focus on both achievements and performance improvement opportunities.
Provides technical support to Server and Network Specialist, project managers, developers, designers, service desk staff, workstation support staff, other IT staff, and end users. Participates in the troubleshooting of all hardware and software. Also assists third party vendors in the operation and maintenance their software. Responsible for the monitoring of network servers to ensure high availability. Participate in the evaluation and maintenance of server performance and monitoring tools and make recommendations for improvements and upgrades.
Responsible for the creation and maintenance of disaster recovery documentation and procedures. Participate in disaster recovery exercises.
qualifications:
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 10-15 years of related information technology experience Required
- Proficiency and experience with AWS and/or Azure services Required
- Build, operate and support AWS and/or Azure Cloud environments Required
- 10+ years of prior experience working in a security focused technology team is required.
- Minimum of 7 years hands on experience implementing cloud based and on-premises security solutions.
- Minimum of 5 years implementing cloud-based solutions utilizing AWS and Azure.
- Experience managing strategic security and cloud vendor relationships.
- Strong experience with Linux and Windows Server system administration is required.
- Strong expertise in the AWS well architected Framework and best practices.
- Ability to manage, develop and cross-train staff of varied levels of experience and technical ability.

- Must be able to work across departmental lines with key stakeholders and business unit leadership.
- Overall accountability for project deliverables, crisis management and development of a security team roadmap are considered essential skills for this position.
