Job Description:
  • The Software Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for analyzing requirements, developing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and ensuring the quality of software products through systematic testing and analysis.
  • This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, technical knowledge, and attention to detail to ensure that software systems meet established standards and function as intended.
Responsibilities:
  • Analyze requirements, operational issues, specifications, and change requests.
  • Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and scripts to identify potential code defects.
  • Execute assigned test cases and accurately log and track defects in the system.
  • Research and provide technical support on operational and test system defects.
  • Recommend and assist in implementing corrective actions.
  • Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality remains stable and new features work as designed.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of test results to support debugging and software modifications.
  • Provide feedback on programming languages, systems, and software tools to improve quality processes.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a software development environment.
  • In Lieu of Education: An additional 4 years of relevant work experience may substitute for a bachelor s degree.
Skills and Knowledge:
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Proficient knowledge of software test requirements, testing protocols, and methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex problems.
  • Proficient in wireless communications and network systems.
  • Intermediate programming skills in at least one programming language.
  • Familiarity with databases and data validation processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent tools.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to software quality.
