Job Description:
- The Software Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for analyzing requirements, developing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and ensuring the quality of software products through systematic testing and analysis.
- This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, technical knowledge, and attention to detail to ensure that software systems meet established standards and function as intended.
- Analyze requirements, operational issues, specifications, and change requests.
- Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and scripts to identify potential code defects.
- Execute assigned test cases and accurately log and track defects in the system.
- Research and provide technical support on operational and test system defects.
- Recommend and assist in implementing corrective actions.
- Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality remains stable and new features work as designed.
- Maintain thorough documentation of test results to support debugging and software modifications.
- Provide feedback on programming languages, systems, and software tools to improve quality processes.
- Education: Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a software development environment.
- In Lieu of Education: An additional 4 years of relevant work experience may substitute for a bachelor s degree.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Proficient knowledge of software test requirements, testing protocols, and methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex problems.
- Proficient in wireless communications and network systems.
- Intermediate programming skills in at least one programming language.
- Familiarity with databases and data validation processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent tools.
- High attention to detail and commitment to software quality.
