RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Data Analyst 5 in Beaverton, OR.
Responsibilities:
* Data Analyst 5 will work with report developers to align dataset design with report design
* Partner with information architecture to provide feedback on conceptual models and review logical and physical data models
* Partner with information architecture on naming standards
* Provide data consistency across multiple scrum teams within a capability
* Facilitate data requirements elicitation and modeling sessions including use of interview, document analysis, workshops, etc.
* Provide guidance and partner with squads by applying knowledge of data design
* Assist with the development and enforcement of data modeling standards
* As a Data Analyst 5, you will participate in data definition and data management reviews
* Partner with source system on new initiatives and enhancements
* Interface with transformational initiatives
* Partner with engineering and information architect on integrated/aggregated layer guidelines
* Establish and maintain processes to support and grow data modeling practices
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or equivalent
* 7+ years of experience working in technology, preferably in BI and Analytics
* 5 years of experience in Data Modeling and design
* 5 years of experience in data analysis, business analysis or system analysis
* Experience using CA Erwin or Hackolade other similar modeling tool
* Experience, interest, and adaptability to working in an Agile delivery environment
* Experience with big data and cloud with Databricks & Snowflake is preferred
* Strong knowledge of relational and dimensional data modeling concepts
* Strong knowledge of data architecture and database structure
* Strong data analysis skills
* Strong SQL skills
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
* Self-motivated and collaborative
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where change is a constant
* Ability to handle ambiguous requirements
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
