Job Details
The candidate will be responsible for performing data analysis of network data.
(Troubleshooting steps and results, Alarms, Historical data, etc.) and developing insights for providing & improving solutions for troubleshooting services including Fios and wireless.
In this role, the candidate will be implementing descriptive, predictive and prescriptive capabilities to improve the network diagnostics in troubleshooting OSS platform for Telecom Network and thereby improve the customer experience.
Requirements:
A qualified candidate must have experience in:
Data extraction using Python (7 years)
- Connect to different databases to extract data
- Utilize DB tools, including moderately complex SQL queries to extract data
Data Preparation using Python (7 years)
- Collect, collate and clean data in preparation for analysis
Data Analysis using Python (7 years)
- Explore data and generate insights
- Story telling
Data Mining and Modeling using Python (1-2 years)
- Basic Statistics
- Real-world experience in using data mining algorithms using Python
SW development
- Problem solving
- Experience with end to end SDLC
Required - Python, Pandas, NumPy, SciKit etc
Good to have - MatplotLib, Plotly etc
Pyspark and exposure to Google Cloud Platform would be a plus.
Qualifications:
Education Level MS or equivalent in relevant fields like Data Science, Applied Maths, Statistics or Computer Science
7+ yrs experience in Business Intelligence domain including data mining, data visualization and Machine Learning.
