Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Network Site Reliability Engineer (Network SRE) with strong networking fundamentals and Linux expertise to support, automate, and enhance the reliability of large-scale networked systems. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of networking, systems, cloud, and automation skills, along with an SRE mindset focused on reliability, observability, and operational excellence.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of network and infrastructure services
- Perform deep network troubleshooting across TCP/IP, routing, DNS, firewall, and Linux systems
- Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and tools to reduce manual operational work
- Support containerized environments and cloud-based networking solutions
- Create and maintain runbooks, SOPs, and incident response documentation
- Implement and manage monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions
- Participate in incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and post-incident reviews
- Collaborate with application, cloud, and DevOps teams to improve service reliability
- Support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation initiatives
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Network Engineering / Network SRE / Infrastructure roles
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, routing, DNS, firewall technologies
- Linux administration and troubleshooting
- Experience with AWS cloud services
- Strong understanding of container platforms: Docker and Kubernetes
- Hands-on scripting and automation using Python and/or Bash
- Experience creating runbooks and operational documentation
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience with observability tools:
- Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana
- Logging: ELK stack, Splunk (or similar)
Good to Have Skills
- Knowledge of SD-WAN concepts
- Experience with Versa SD-WAN platform
