Job Details

Role: Informatica IDMC Developer

Location: Erie, PA (Day01 Onsite)

Duration : Longterm

Exp : 10+

Visa : H1B.EAD

USC.GC.GCEAD (15+ Need)

Required Skills:

Terraform (EC2 creation, Security Group Configuration, ENI, Lambdas, IAM roles/policies)

IDMC (Administrator service dealing with infrastructure and API set up)

Responsibilities:

Design, Develop, and Maintain ETL Processes: Create and manage ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter, PowerExchange, and other related technologies.

Data Integration: Collaborate with business analysts and data architects to translate business requirements into technical specifications and implement efficient data integration solutions.

Performance Optimization: Optimize ETL processes for performance and efficiency, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum throughput.

Data Quality and Integrity: Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the ETL process, implementing data validation and cleansing routines.

Testing and Troubleshooting: Conduct unit and integration testing of ETL processes, troubleshoot issues, and provide post-production support.

Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of ETL processes, data mappings, and workflows.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and contribute to database design decisions.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Informatica PowerCenter and other Informatica products.

Strong SQL skills and experience with databases like DB2, Oracle and SQL Server

Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and BI architecture.

Knowledge of Insurance will be added advantage.

Experience with UNIX/Linux scripting.

Experience with scheduling tools - IBM workload scheduler

Familiarity with data modeling techniques and schema designs (e.g., star, snowflake schemas).

Soft Skills:

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Nice to have: Advanced AWS Experience and Certification (AWS Associate Cloud Dev Certification or higher)
