Responsibilities
This position will conduct analysis of Electronic Clinical Laboratory Reporting System (ECLRS) and Communicable Disease Electronic Surveillance System (CDESS) processes associated with influenza data in support of identifying hospitalized influenza cases. This would include rules associated with moving influenza records from ECLRS to CDESS including how various subtypes are addressed. The incumbent will document these processes and work with program to identify gaps to make necessary modifications and enhancements to the existing processes. Finally, the contractor will implement these improvements including testing and validating them with a focus on improving reporting associated with subtyping.
Skills Needed:
- This position requires at least a bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, MIS or equivalent from an accredited institution. A copy of the degree must be submitted with the Candidate Proposal Response.
- 84 months experience in using WebLogic application server
- 84 months experience in designing complex web applications on various development platforms, including REST web services
- 84 months experience in the design, implementation and deployment of Java SE, JDBC, Java Servlets and JavaScript with relational database model applications
- 84 months experience working with java-based service-oriented architecture
- 84 months experience in SQL object-relational mapping framework
- 84 months experience in application testing including design and implementation of test plans
- 84 months experience in working with HL7 messages
- 84 months experience in designing interfaces with SAS server environment
