Location: Austin, Texas(Hybrid)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Administrator with deep subject matter expertise in PeopleSoft PUM upgrades, administration, and custom module support. The candidate will be responsible for administering and applying monthly CAPPS Financials updates to the CAPPS HUB PeopleSoft system, applying critical security patches, providing production support, and troubleshooting issues in various PeopleSoft modules, particularly custom modules like EMAT, TGIF/ER, and Cash Receipts (CR). The individual will also assist with complex functionality development, system tuning, and providing senior-level business analysis to help design solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform complete installations of PeopleSoft 9.2x at all tiers, using PUM and Change Assistant (A) or DPK used by PeopleSoft.

Upgrade PeopleSoft systems by collaborating with users and services to develop, test, evaluate, and install enhancements using PeopleSoft Upgrade Manager (PUM).

Document high-level steps and ensure all processes follow Oracle delivered steps.

Run and analyze compare reports and apply retrofits.

Maintain PeopleSoft system performance through system monitoring, analysis, and performance tuning.

Troubleshoot system hardware, software, networks, and operating systems and provide system management.

Design and execute system load/stress testing and escalate application issues to users as needed.

Troubleshoot and isolate technical issues in PeopleSoft Internet Architecture (PIA), including Oracle database, Tuxedo application servers, Unix process schedulers, and WebLogic configuration.

Develop and enforce security protocols for the PeopleSoft system, monitoring access, control, and sending alerts for system issues.

Resolve bugs from previous upgrades and implement new functionality.

Resolve fluid approval workflow issues and configure new workflows for travel/expense modules.

Perform CPA updates by comparing and analyzing conflicts, reapplying customizations.

Spin up new PeopleSoft environments on demand and download PUM images for new release images.

Administer the PeopleSoft servers, applying patches and providing support with critical patches.

Support integrations with TEAL, eGrants, and other systems like Child Nutrition Program (CNP), Foundation School Program (FSP), and Consolidated Entitlement Management System (CEMS).

Automate manual recurring activities to improve system processes.

Automate PeopleSoft administrative tasks and train current resources on PeopleSoft administration.

Candidate Skills and Qualifications

10 years: Experience with CAPPS PeopleSoft Financial System (Centralized Accounting and Payroll/Personnel System).

10 years: Experience in PeopleSoft Integration with third-party applications using Integration Broker and Web Services.

10 years: Experience in STAT, PeopleSoft upgrades, application tuning, and deployment activities.

10 years: Experience in PeopleSoft XML/BI Publisher reports.

8 years: Experience installing the latest PUM images using PeopleSoft Update Manager and Change Assistant.

8 years: Experience in PeopleSoft administration, configuring application server, web server, and process scheduler.

8 years: Experience troubleshooting and isolating technical issues related to app and web servers.

8 years: Experience with PeopleSoft in a Linux/RedHat environment, working in an Oracle 19c or higher environment.

8 years: Experience with PeopleSoft Financials Application (release 9.2).

8 years: Experience with PeopleSoft development tools using PeopleTools 8.51x or higher.

5 years (Preferred): Experience in Quest STAT administration for PeopleSoft code deployments.

5 years (Preferred): Experience with Education Materials, Grants, and Cash Receipts functionality.
