The Business Systems Analyst/Product Owner is responsible for defining customer needs in both technical and business contexts, ensuring solutions meet objectives, and guiding business analysis activities for high-visibility projects. This role involves mentoring less experienced staff and acting as a Subject Matter Expert for various projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Elicit and document user requirements to meet business objectives and set customer expectations.
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert for one or more lines of business on various projects.
  • Guide technical and customer departments in the development of systems.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer about the business units' direction to support teams.
  • Ensure accurate deployment of solutions through review of problem logs and test plans.
  • Provide business direction for system changes and validate business needs for solutions.

Experience Requirements:
  • 8 years of IT business analysis experience
  • USA residency requirement: Must have resided in the US for at least three of the last five years
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
  • Or 4 years of job-related work experience
  • Or 2 years of job-related experience plus an associate’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
