How You Will Make an Impact
- Source and clean data from major social platforms, news outlets, and niche online communities.
- Design tagging pipelines that map unstructured conversations to tickers, companies, and events.
- Develop sentiment and virality models that detect actionable market signals.
- Ensure data freshness, precision, and consistency across feeds.
- Partner with traders and quants to turn experimental insights into production-ready tools.
Are You an Experienced Data Engineer Ready to Make an Impact?
- 3-6+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or alternative data.
- Proficient in Python and SQL, with experience handling unstructured text data.
- Solid understanding of NLP workflows, from regex-based tagging to embeddings and classifiers.
- Experience with API integrations, data quality monitoring, and validation techniques.
- Excellent written and verbal English skills for collaborating with global trading teams.
- Familiarity with financial data, graph analytics, or real-time data systems is a plus.
