Pay rate: Minimum $55.00 - Maximum $70.00. based on experience
Education: Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering.
How soon do you need to fill this role? ASAP, a new product was launched.
How quickly do you plan on interviewing candidates, and what is the interview process (e.g., manager interview only, team interview, phone and video interview, etc.)? 1st: Introductory role interview, 2nd: Panel interview with the team.
What are the 5 must-have skills for this position?
1. Experience in design changes and maintenance releases in medical device products.
2. Hands-on mechanical design experience, including building and prototype testing.
3. Ability to create drawings and assemblies within SolidWorks or other drafting applications.
4. Supporting the maintenance and changes to design history files.
5. Experience with root cause analysis in medical device products.
Nice to have: Experience working with the following:
Outside vendors.
Data analysis, statistical analysis, and technical reporting.
Defining and developing test procedures for verification and validation.
Handling field complaints.
Assessing the production impact of design changes and collaborating with purchasing and production teams.

Position Description:
* Designs and engineers the solution down to detail to satisfy the specified requirements of the customer.
* Defines the products, components and systems to be used and their concrete characteristics.
* Configures the components and systems of the solution according to the requirements.
* Develops detailed solutions for the integration to ensure the interaction of the individual elements as a functioning unit.
* Is responsible for the realization of the solution with the required functionality, prepares the design documentation.
* May minister the executing units (e.g. manufacturing, procurement, logistics).
Impacts: Is expected to adopt existing concepts, methodologies, etc. in order to create and open up new ways of approaching and fulfilling specific internal and external client requests or project requirements.
