Job Description:
- The HP Tandem Modernization Architect plays a strategic leadership role in driving the transformation of legacy mainframe systems into modern, cloud-native architecture.
- With 15 18 years of experience in core HP Tandem technologies such as HP NonStop COBOL, TACL, Pathway, SQL/MP, and Enscribe, this role would have deep technical expertise and a strong understanding of modernization frameworks.
- The architect is responsible for leading the migration of batch components to microservices-based solutions on cloud platforms like AWS, while ensuring seamless integration with enterprise systems.
- A foundation in python, cloud-native design, and familiarity with event-driven architectures, Kafka, and Flink is desirable.
- The role also involves designing integration points between mainframe and distributed systems, guiding technical teams, and aligning modernization efforts with business goals and enterprise architecture standards.
