Job Title: ServiceNow Legal Technical Consultant
Location: Seattle, WA/ Overland Park, KS
Duration: Long Term Contract
Open to: C2C (Corp-to-Corp) candidates
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated ServiceNow Legal Technical Consultant to support the delivery and optimization of the ServiceNow Legal Service Delivery (LSD) platform. This role is critical for planning, implementing, and managing projects that enhance legal operations through ServiceNow solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of legal processes, ServiceNow platform expertise, and excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement, and manage end-to-end ServiceNow LSD projects.
- Configure and customize ServiceNow LSD modules based on business and legal team requirements.
- Develop solutions using ServiceNow's out-of-the-box (OOB) functionalities and best practices.
- Collaborate with legal teams, IT teams, and end-users for seamless project delivery and support.
- Design and implement automated workflows for contract management, legal requests, and matter management.
- Provide end-user training, create process documentation, and support materials (FRS, test cases, training decks, etc.).
- Design legal process workflows using Microsoft Visio.
- Create and maintain Excel reports to support legal service analytics.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure service delivery effectiveness.
- Support integration efforts between ServiceNow LSD and third-party legal applications.
- Apply knowledge of ITSM processes such as Request Fulfillment, Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management.
Required Skills:
- Understanding of legal processes including contract management, legal requests, and matter management.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow administration, development, or implementation.
- Familiarity with Legal Service Delivery (LSD) integrations with third-party applications.
- Strong documentation skills for process design, functional specifications, and training materials.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Visio for workflow design and Excel for reporting.
- Exceptional customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with legal teams, IT staff, and senior stakeholders.
- Basic understanding of ServiceNow ITSM processes.
- Prior experience working in a legal department or law firm (preferred).
- Knowledge of legal terminology (preferred).
Certifications (Preferred):
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- ServiceNow Legal Service Delivery Certification (highly desirable)
