Description
We are looking for an experienced IT Manager to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight. This contract offers an opportunity to shape the future of IT systems and team structure while ensuring seamless support for ongoing initiatives. The ideal candidate will be highly collaborative and possess a strong ability to assess, restructure, and align IT operations with organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering collaboration and efficiency during a period of departmental transition.
Conduct a thorough evaluation of current IT systems, infrastructure, and team capabilities to identify areas for improvement.
Evaluate existing IT processes to enhance productivity.
Ensure legacy tools and systems are appropriately deprecated and replaced with modern, off-the-shelf solutions.
Collaborate with operational teams to align IT strategies with business objectives and optimize support models.
Assess the feasibility of outsourcing IT functions and design scalable solutions for future organizational needs.
Maintain strong relationships with vendors and manage contracts to ensure consistent service delivery.
Provide actionable recommendations for long-term IT strategy and scalability.
Promote an inclusive and respectful team culture while navigating organizational change.
Requirements
Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT leadership roles within mid-sized organizations.
Proven track record in conducting IT assessments, team restructuring, and strategic planning.
Familiarity with managed service providers (MSPs) and outsourced IT models.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate across departments.
Experience managing computer hardware and ensuring alignment with organizational changes.
Ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics with professionalism and integrity.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams through periods of transformation and growth.
