Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our team. This role requires a strong background in software testing along with the ability to help define and implement a clear path toward test automation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) for test creation and monitoring, and will be skilled in creating traceability matrices to ensure test coverage. Excellent communication skills are a must.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and implement QA strategy with a focus on future automation.
- Set up and maintain Azure DevOps (ADO) for test case creation, test plans, and test result monitoring.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure thorough test coverage and traceability.
- Create and maintain traceability matrices to map requirements to test cases.
- Execute manual and automated test cases as needed.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and communicate test progress, risks, and issues clearly to stakeholders.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve QA processes and automation frameworks.
Required Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing roles.
- Strong experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) for test management.
- Proven ability to establish a scalable automation roadmap.
- Proficient in creating and maintaining traceability matrices.
- Solid understanding of software development and QA methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in setting up or contributing to automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with scripting languages or tools used in test automation.
- ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.
