Detailed Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned SAP EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) Consultant with over 10 years of experience, including hands-on S/4HANA implementation expertise and a strong background in the chemical or process manufacturing industry.
This role involves driving key phases of implementation such as FIT-GAP analysis, solution design, and deployment of EHS functionalities including incident management, dangerous goods management, and product safety & compliance. The consultant will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, SAP teams, and client SMEs to ensure delivery of robust and compliant EHS processes.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the FIT-GAP analysis, blueprinting, and design phases for SAP EHS on S/4HANA
- Implement and configure modules related to:
- EHS Incident Management
- Dangerous Goods Management
- Product Safety & Compliance
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define system specifications, and create functional design documents
- Provide expertise in SAP best practices, process optimization, and regulatory compliance relevant to the chemical/process industries
- Support testing, training, cutover, and go-live activities
- Serve as a key point of contact for integration with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, and PP
- Travel weekly to Ohio during project design phases; remain flexible for future onsite needs
Must have skills:
- 10+ years of SAP EHS consulting experience
- Hands-on S/4HANA implementation experience, preferably greenfield or brownfield projects
- Deep understanding of chemical industry regulations and EHS compliance
- Proven experience in:
- EHS Incident Management
- Dangerous Goods Transportation & Handling
- Product Safety (SDS authoring, labeling, compliance checks)
- Strong experience working with cross-functional SAP teams and end users
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
