Our challenge
We are looking for a Senior developer that will be responsible for developing, enhancing, modifying and/or maintaining application using Python and SQL.
Additional Information*
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Jersey City, NJ/Charlotte, NC is $115k - $125k/year & benefits (see below).
The Role
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and fine-tune large scale language models using Python and popular ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers).
- Conduct research to improve model performance, efficiency, and robustness.
- Develop pipelines for data collection, preprocessing, and model training.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate LLMs into products and services.
- Monitor and analyze model performance, and troubleshoot issues.
- Stay current with the latest research and advancements in AI, NLP, and LLM technologies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Python programming and libraries relevant to AI/ML (e.g., NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn).
- Strong understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques and architectures.
- Hands-on experience with large language models such as GPT, BERT, T5, or similar.
- Experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Hugging Face Transformers.
- Knowledge of distributed training and optimization techniques for large models.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure) for model deployment and scaling.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
- Advanced degree (Master s or Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Publications or contributions to open-source NLP projects.
- Experience with model compression, optimization, and deployment in production environments.
