Job Description
You will be the Reliability Engineer for the Javelin program team. Our team delivers cutting edge missile systems, driving reliability, maintainability, and testability from concept through production.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Reliability Engineer you will lead technical reliability analyses that support both development and production of the Javelin. You'll partner with designers, suppliers, and program managers to ensure every component meets the highest reliability standards.

Design, coordinate, and execute technical reliability studies, experiments, and FMECAs.
Participate in detailed design reviews, technical interchange meetings, and supplier collaborations.
Conduct FRACAS activities and drive Failure Review Board (FRB) processes.
Perform reliability growth modeling and develop reliability allocations and predictions.
Investigate failures, lead root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions that meet reliability targets.
Review specifications, drawings, and engineering change proposals for impacts on reliability, maintainability, and testability.
Create and deliver clear presentations to program leadership and customers.
Contribute to proposal efforts with reliability, maintainability, and testability inputs.
Identify improvement opportunities from failure data and guide design enhancements.
Oversee reliability data mining, trend analysis, and database development.
Work onsite at the Orlando facility as needed.

Basic Qualifications
Strong technical background with Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in engineering or engineering Technology fields and previous professional technical experience
Knowledge and experience with Reliability Engineering design practices (MIL-STD-1629).
Knowledge of and experience with implementation of Supportability Engineering practices.
FRACAS Analysis process and driving failure investigations to root cause and corrective action.
Reliability Prediction Analysis using Windchill Quality Solutions (WQS)/Relex or like Software.
Reliability FMECA Process/Analysis including a general understanding of circuit design and schematics.
Strong Computer Skills including MS Office.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build effective working relationships.
Candidate should be an analytical thinker with demonstrated ability of solving complex problems which require ingenuity and innovations.
Experience collaborating with and working in conjunction with other functions and engineering groups to achieve desirable results
Ability to communicate, effectively interface and influence multiple levels of executives and a broad range of internal and external customers
Experience with Missile Systems and/or Fire control systems
Demonstration of full spectrum leadership qualities

Active Secret Clearance with Investigation in past 5 years.
Strong technical background in electrical, mechanical, and reliability engineering concepts
Experience with developing and delivering presentations to peers, management, and customers
Experience using WQS/RELEX and/or other reliability assessment or analysis software such RGA, Ansys Sherlock, Tableau, etc
Experience with statistical analysis, statistical process control and/or statistical software.
Experience in leading team tasking/leading multi-functional technical teams
Familiar with EVMS and cost account management

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
