responsibilities:


  • Review tax equity investment accounting and syndication accounting
  • Maintain accounting systems, including customer, supplier and ledger
  • Partner with internal accounting team on entity structure, cash movements, and book/tax accounting
  • Own general ledger, tax basis, and capital account tracking schedules.





qualifications:

Must-Have:



  • Solid foundation in accounting principles (accruals, reconciliations, etc.).
  • Demonstrated experience with financial modeling; any modeling language is a significant plus.
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau, SQL for dashboarding).
  • An innovative mindset; someone who is intellectually curious, "sharp," and looking for something beyond a traditional accounting role.


"Nice-to-Have" Qualifications:



  • Direct experience with HLBV accounting or similar hypothetical/project-based valuation methods.
  • Experience in the renewable energy, utilities, or program finance sectors.
  • Familiarity with tax credit programs or transferable tax-related experience.
  • Exposure to AI concepts or automation tools.
  • Background in public accounting.
  • CPA designation is a plus, but not required.
