Hours: Monday- Friday 8 am-5 pm
Position Summary:
- The Scrum Master for Digital Projects with Commercial BI&T will be responsible for facilitating and guiding the Agile development process for our initiatives.
- This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, machine learning engineers, software developers, and product owners, to ensure the successful delivery of Digital projects.
- The Scrum Master will help the team adhere to Agile principles, remove impediments, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities and Duties: 1. Facilitate Agile Processes:
- Scrum Ceremonies: Organize and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Sprint Planning: Assist the team in defining sprint goals, planning tasks, and estimating effort for each sprint.
- Backlog Management: Work with the Product Owner to ensure the product backlog is well-groomed, prioritized, and ready for upcoming sprints.
2. Team Support and Coaching:
- Agile Coaching: Coach team members on Agile principles and practices, helping them to understand and adopt Scrum methodologies.
- Remove Impediments: Identify and remove any impediments or obstacles that may hinder the team's progress.
- Foster Collaboration: Promote a collaborative team environment where open communication, trust, and respect are encouraged.
3. Project Coordination:
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, machine learning engineers, software developers, and other stakeholders, to ensure alignment and integration of projects.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
4. Continuous Improvement:
- Retrospectives: Facilitate sprint retrospectives to identify areas for improvement and implement actionable plans to enhance team performance.
- Process Optimization: Continuously assess and improve Agile processes and practices to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
5. Performance Tracking and Reporting:
- Metrics and KPIs: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure team performance and project progress.
- Progress Reporting: Prepare and present regular progress reports to stakeholders and senior management.
6. Risk Management:
- Risk Identification: Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery and develop mitigation strategies.
- Issue Resolution: Proactively address and resolve any issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP) is a plus.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: experience as a Scrum Master, with a proven track record of successfully delivering software development projects. Pharma GxP software development experience preferred
- Agile Expertise: Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and best practices.
- Leadership and Communication: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage teams and engage stakeholders.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues, assess risks, and develop solutions.
- Facilitation Skills: Ability to facilitate meetings, discussions, and decision-making processes effectively.
- Proficient in Jira and PPM software.

Working Conditions:
- Work Environment: Office-based with potential for remote work and occasional travel to project sites or other company locations.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to work in a standard office environment, using a computer and other office equipment.
The hourly rate for this position is between $75.00 - $77.00 per hour.
