Job Title: Verification Engineer
Location: Wauwatosa, WI (Onsite)
Duration/Term: Long Term Contract


Introduction:

Join a global engineering team utilizing advanced design tools and techniques to develop state-of-the-art CT systems for leadership in medical diagnostic imaging. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for driving multi-generational product plans as well as specific development projects, solving diverse technical challenges through design from scratch or reengineering current designs. The role encompasses circuit design (Analog or Power) and simulation work (MATLAB) within a highly collaborative and dynamic environment.


Job Description:

  • Electrical Circuit Design: Design electrical and/or power electronics circuitry for Premium CT Hardware, focusing on new product innovations (NPI) or maintenance of the installed base.
  • Project Ownership & Execution: Drive operational excellence, handling design reviews, feasibility analysis, cost-benefit analysis, prioritization, resourcing, and execution from initiation to closure.
  • Prototype & Testing Development: Lead prototyping, performance testing, and design documentation for new electrical components.
  • ECAD System Utilization: Capture electrical design schematics using an ECAD system, reviewing and approving PCB layouts for optimized performance.
  • Innovation & Optimization: Develop innovative, high-performance, cost-effective designs, ensuring reliability and manufacturability.


Qualifications:

Required:

  • BS in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of industry experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in circuit design (analog or power).
  • Proficiency in standard schematic practices, product structuring, electronics modeling, and engineering analysis techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of integrated circuit design, control systems, programming, simulation, and testing.


Preferred:

  • Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering.
  • Strong understanding of circuit and circuit board design (analog and digital).
  • Familiarity with digital electronics, switches, and flux capacitors.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to document, plan, market, and execute projects/programs.
  • Ability to multi-task across electrical and greater hardware teams.
