Job Details
Job Summary Oracle Linux Administrator
- Lead enterprise patch management and CVE remediation for Oracle Linux 7.9 and related systems.
- Serve as primary escalation point for Oracle Linux support, handling Tier 1 & 2 issues and Oracle support cases.
- Apply security patches, OS bug fixes, and ensure security compliance across environments.
- Provide 24x7 production support for high-severity incidents and outages.
- Perform root cause analysis and document all patching, changes, and updates.
- Mentor junior Linux administrators and act as a technical expert within the team.
- Utilize ITIL processes, ticketing systems, and adhere to support SLAs.
- Preferred: Oracle certifications, experience in regulated industries, and knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet).
