About the Role
Our client is seeking a Compliance Cybersecurity Operations Manager to join their team in Pittsburgh, PA.
This hybrid role offers a unique opportunity to lead ITAR-compliant cybersecurity operations, drive cross-functional risk reduction initiatives, and implement next-generation workflow optimization tools and processes.
This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for candidates with a strong background in cybersecurity operations, compliance, and process improvement within large-scale technology or product development environments.
Compensation
Base Salary: $130,500 – $191,400 per year
(No deviation on salary range; final compensation depends on skills, experience, and qualifications.)Benefits: Comprehensive health, welfare, and retirement plans

Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee ITAR-compliant cybersecurity operations and related projects.
Manage and mentor a team of project managers and process improvement professionals, ensuring alignment with corporate cybersecurity goals.
Develop and execute strategies to improve operational efficiency, risk reduction, and compliance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align workflow tools with product cybersecurity objectives.
Identify, evaluate, and implement emerging technologies to optimize operations.
Establish and track operational performance metrics.
Foster collaboration and mentorship across divisions, preparing future leaders for succession planning.
Direct and support the implementation of new training and development programs.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
Minimum 10+ years of experience managing key programs or projects in cybersecurity, product development, customer service, or IT.
Minimum 5+ years of people management experience.
Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) due to access to export-controlled information.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
Experience in Product Cybersecurity Operations (e.g., Threat Modeling, Pen Testing, Vulnerability Management, Supply Chain Security).
Knowledge of IEC62443-4-1 and UL2900
cybersecurity standards. Experience with enterprise-level tools such as CRM, CCaaS, CMS, Jira, Kanbanize, etc.
Desired Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of software and firmware development operations.
Experience developing and maintaining cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with proven ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Strong organizational and customer service skills.
