; Job Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating a variety of technical and business projects to ensure timely and successful completion within set funding parameters. This role requires managing complex project plans, defining scope, scheduling, budgeting, identifying risks, developing contingency plans, and allocating resources for each project phase.

; Job Responsibilities
Manage projects according to Client Corporate Standards, Operating Procedures, and department-specific processesOversee scope, schedule, budget, risk/issue management, change controls, phase gates, and project administrationPromote early risk mitigation and accountability through planning and executionDefine project success criteria and guide project teams to meet established goalsDevelop detailed project plans with milestones, timelines, and resource allocationsMonitor and manage team deliverables to ensure on-time, within-budget executionCoordinate vendor activities and align them with the Statement of WorkLead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring effective communication and teamworkTrack and report performance metrics using Microsoft Project Online and Power BIProvide project status updates, escalate risks/issues appropriatelyLead project forecasting, resource planning, and executive-level reporting

Provide oversight, coaching, and mentorship to junior team membersEngage with senior management and executives to align project goalsPlan and execute complex projects independently with high autonomyHandle organizational change management and drive continuous improvementsLead Project Management Office (PMO) initiatives and improvementsSupport onboarding and development of new Project ManagersServe as a liaison for executive communication and decision-making

; Required Skills
Expertise in Microsoft Project Online and Power BI for project scheduling and reportingStrong written/verbal communication and stakeholder engagement skillsLeadership in complex issue resolution and decision-makingAbility to manage high-complexity projects in a matrixed organizationFamiliarity with JIRA for task assignment and tracking (preferred)Strong understanding of the Client energy market and utility business (preferred)

; Required Experience
Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience beyond degree requirementsMinimum 6 years of project management experience on large-scale projectsMinimum 2 years in a program manager role (preferred)

; Education
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration, or related field (Required)Masters Degree in a related field (Preferred)Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered

PMP (Project Management Professional) Highly Preferred
