Job Details
Job Title: Systems Administrator Active Directory
Summary:
Responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting core IT infrastructure including DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, Azure, and file/print services. Ensures secure, efficient, and reliable operation of supported systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage DNS records and respond to DNS requests
- Install, configure, and maintain:
- Active Directory & Azure AD
- DHCP, DNS, Group Policy
- File & Print Services
- SharePoint, Exchange Online, and Azure File Services
- Administer security tools (antivirus, backup, recovery, etc.)
- Use monitoring and support tools like ADUC, UPS software, Print Management, etc.
- Assist with implementation of new/existing cloud services and optimize configurations
- Troubleshoot Tier 2-3 issues via phone or remote support; escalate as needed
- Coordinate infrastructure planning and upgrades with team and stakeholders
- Maintain technical documentation and follow IT change procedures
Required Skills:
- Active Directory & Azure AD administration
- Microsoft Server: DNS, DHCP, File & Print Services
- PowerShell / Microsoft Graph scripting
- Exchange Online & SharePoint troubleshooting
- Enterprise print server management
- Strong understanding of authentication, permissions, and licensing
- Experience with Microsoft Teams & OneDrive (backend support)
- Information security best practices (Preferred)
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
