Job Title: SAP SAM Functional Consultant
Location: Riverview, FL
Type: Contract
Compensation:
Contractor Work Model: Remote
This role is responsible for investigating and resolving user incidents related to SAP's Service and Asset Manager (SAM) application. This role would support users globally in countries speaking English and Portuguese.
Monitor and manage incoming SAM-related incidents in ServiceNow.
Perform initial triage, root cause analysis, and resolution of user issues.
Collaborate with SAP functional and technical teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and user communications.
Ensure incidents are resolved within defined SLAs and with high user satisfaction.
Maintain knowledge base articles and contribute to continuous improvement of support processes. Stay current with SAP SAM 2405 updates, patches, and best practices.
10+ years of relevant SAP experience is required.
Extensive experience with SAP Plant Maintenance processes and SAM application.
Experience using the ServiceNow platform for incident management.
Strong understanding of SAP configuration and customization.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to manage customer requirements and scope discussions.
Excellent verbal, written, listening, and presentation communication skills.
Highly organized.
Ability to adapt to a continually changing business and work environment and manage multiple priorities.
Demonstrated critical thinking and decision-making skills.
Multilingual English and Portuguese.
Ability to take ownership of a problem and drive it to resolution.
