Job Title: Dayforce & HCM Program Manager
Location: Chicago I.L Hybrid
Position Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Dayforce & HCM Program Manager to lead enterprise-level Human Capital Management (HCM) program initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess proven expertise in Dayforce HCM implementation and optimization, program governance, and end-to-end program delivery. This role requires strategic leadership, exceptional stakeholder management, and the ability to oversee cross-functional teams in delivering complex HCM solutions that align with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic program leadership for the implementation, enhancement, and optimization of Dayforce HCM across all functional areas (Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Workforce Management, Talent, Compensation, Learning).
  • Establish and manage program governance frameworks, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and business leaders to define requirements and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Oversee vendor relationships and act as the key liaison with Ceridian Dayforce teams and integration partners.
  • Lead program risk management, change management strategies, and issue resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with HR, payroll, and data privacy regulations while implementing system best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement by leveraging analytics, reporting, and automation capabilities within Dayforce.
  • Provide executive-level reporting on program progress, risks, and outcomes.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • 8+ years of experience in Program/Project Management, with a strong focus on HCM systems.
  • 5+ years of hands-on Dayforce HCM experience, including end-to-end implementation and support.
  • Deep expertise in multiple HCM modules: Core HR, Payroll, Workforce Management, Talent, Benefits.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage enterprise-level transformation programs with multi-million-dollar budgets.
  • Exceptional skills in stakeholder engagement, vendor management, and executive communication.
  • Solid understanding of HR business processes, compliance requirements, and best practices.
  • PMP, PgMP, Prosci, or other program management/change management certifications preferred.
Soft Skills:
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
  • Analytical thinker with a proactive problem-solving approach.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced, global environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
