Duration -Permanent role
Salary Range: $200,000 - $225,000, with flexibility based on experience

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. Qualifications
- Must currently possess an active TS/SCI Clearance with Full-Scope Polygraph (FSP)
- Experience with C/C++, Rust, or C#
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Perl, Tcl, etc.)
- Knowledge of FPGA design, synthesis, and P&R tools (e.g., Vivado, Quartus)
- Experience with FPGA embedded processors (Zynq, MicroBlaze, Nios, etc.)
- Experience working with Linux/Windows operating systems
- Strong oral and written communication skills
What You'll Do
- Develop, test, debug, and document embedded software that enables custom electronic systems to meet all system objectives
- Create and implement test plans to ensure embedded software functions as intended
- Utilize commercial test equipment or develop custom hardware and software for embedded software debugging
- Analyze system requirements and develop comprehensive implementation plans, including functional definitions and the allocation of functions between hardware and software components
- Design and develop complete system test plans to verify all system requirements are met and properly implemented
Education / Experience
Multiple openings available for Junior, Senior, Principal, and Sr. Principal Engineers:
- At least 3 years of embedded software development experience, OR
- A Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant science or engineering discipline, plus a minimum of three years of embedded software development experience
