Position: Manager General Ledger

Required Qualifications:

  • Master s degree in Accounting; CPA or equivalent certification preferred

  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant accounting experience

  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with SAP / S4 HANA

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

  • Strong presentation and communication abilities

  • Experience in the technology industry is a plus


Role Overview:

The Manager, General Ledger will provide proactive leadership and day-to-day direction to the General Ledger team. This role is responsible for maintaining strong financial controls, ensuring accuracy in operational and capital financial data, and overseeing compliance with financial reporting standards. The ideal candidate will be skilled in US GAAP, financial reporting, month-end close processes, variance analysis, account reconciliations, and team management.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare consolidated financial statements using reporting tools, with strong knowledge of consolidation, FX revaluation/translation, and intercompany eliminations

  • Develop consolidated cash flow statements

  • Oversee and review monthly account reconciliations

  • Investigate general ledger variances and present findings to senior management

  • Ensure adherence to SOX compliance requirements

  • Provide guidance on proper accounting treatment and assist with technical accounting related to new standards or changes

  • Design and implement improved accounting practices and procedures

  • Collaborate with tax teams and internal/external auditors to meet compliance and reporting requirements

  • Validate and support accounting estimates for accuracy and completeness

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the accounting function

  • Coach and develop team members through training, performance reviews, and development planning

  • Support audit processes, including preparation of GAAP-compliant financial statements and footnotes

  • Act as a key point of contact for issue resolution within the accounting team

  • Handle special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned.
