Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Developer (Programmer Analyst 6) to design, develop, test, and implement complex applications supporting multiple agencies. This role involves supporting five Accela instances and additional systems dependent on Accela data.

The ideal candidate will provide technical expertise, guide team members, streamline business processes, and enhance existing Accela applications. Additional responsibilities include supporting existing web services, client-server applications, reporting tools, and performing ongoing enhancements as required.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain complex applications.

Support and enhance multiple Accela Civic Platform environments.

Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams and agency partners.

Perform Accela configuration, scripting, reporting, and integration tasks.

Maintain and enhance existing web services and client/server applications.

Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.

Develop and modify reports using SSRS, Crystal Reports, and ad-hoc reporting tools.

Utilize SVN and GIT for version control.

Work with SQL Server databases including queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.

Required Skills & Experience

3–5 years of experience implementing and supporting the Accela Civic Platform (Automation, Licensing, Case Management, ACA).

3–5 years of experience with Accela design, development, code review, and testing.

3–5 years of experience creating reports (Ad Hoc, Crystal, SSRS).

3–5 years configuring Accela security roles, permissions, and FIDS best practices.

3–5 years of Accela scripting & configuration (event, batch, pageflow, expression).

3–5 years experience with Microsoft SQL Server.

3–5 years promoting changes via Accela Configuration Manager exports/imports.

1–3 years experience with SVN and GIT.

Technical skills: Java, Rhino JavaScript, .NET, HTML, XML, SQL, relational databases, web services, Microsoft Office.

Desired Skills

Experience with Accela GIS

Experience with Accela Mobile Apps

Understanding of Accela payment adapter configurations

Experience with Accela Data Migration Tool

Experience with Angular (Strongly Desired)

Experience with React (Strongly Desired)
