Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement Oracle BI solutions within the ERP system.
  • Develop and maintain data models to support BI reporting.
  • Optimize BI dashboards and reports for performance and usability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements for BI solutions.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for BI tools and applications.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the ERP system.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in Oracle BI to recommend improvements.
  • Gather and analyze requirements from business stakeholders, translating them into technical specifications.
  • Perform end-to-end data reconciliation and validation across source systems, ETL processes, and BI reports.
  • Design, develop, and maintain OBIEE RPD models, dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
  • Write and optimize SQL and PL/SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Configure OBIEE features such as cache, usage tracking, dimensional hierarchies, variable initialization blocks, and scheduler tasks.
Required Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle Business Intelligence tools and technologies (OBIEE, OAS, DV).
  • Proficiency in Oracle ERP systems and modules.
  • Strong understanding of SAP modules: SD, MM, FICO/PS.
  • Thorough understanding of end-to-end business processes: O2C, P2P, PL2PRC2R, including S4HANA tables and reports.
  • Ability to understand customizations in S4 systems, including custom tables, CDS views, and reports.
  • Strong data analysis, reconciliation, and validation skills.
  • Experience in ETL processes and resolving data discrepancies from source to BI layers.
  • Expertise in OBIEE architecture and components: Analytic Server, Web Server, RPD, Web Catalog, Security, Dashboards, Reports, iBots, and Scheduler.
  • Experience designing and converting Snowflake schemas to Star schemas, including dimensional hierarchies and extensions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently or in a team.
Preferred Skills:
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) and data visualization tools.
  • Experience handling complex business logic and large datasets efficiently.
