About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in product design and development for heavy equipment, powertrain, and driveline components. The ideal candidate will play a key role in executing new product designs, managing current product changes, and collaborating across teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead design and development of new products and manage changes for existing products.
• Work on projects related to heavy equipment, engine powertrain, and driveline components.
• Understand and evaluate Engineering Change Requests (ECR) from Product Managers.
• Perform design modifications in CAD and update 2D drawings as required.
• Prepare and manage Change Notice Packages using PLM tools (Vault).
• Ensure compliance with engineering processes and ISO standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve and prioritize ECR issues.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and drafters.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME).
• 7 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in product design and development, DFMEA, DFM/DFA, and risk mitigation.
• Strong understanding of hydraulic and fluid power systems.
• Good knowledge of driveline and drivetrain systems.
• Solid understanding of stress analysis (FEA, fatigue, bolted joints, welded structures).
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and PDM Vault.
• Experience with PLM systems and engineering change management.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
